A Hot Water Heater for the Log Cabin!

A Water Heater for the Log Cabin!

I bought this hot water heater and a potato masher from my fellow Etsian, Gary of Wee Wood Shoppe and I love them both but this hot water heater is perfect! Since the log cabin will be a weekend getaway, home-away-from-home for its owners, the water will have to be cut on and off. I couldn't believe Gary only charged $10 for this wonderful piece and the potato masher, turned on his lathe with a beautiful wood grain, is equally lovely and reasonable!
I didn't check my mail until late today before choir practice at church but Joanna and I were excited to receive the little Valentine's goody we received from Emma and Neil at Paris Miniatures today so I will photograph it soon and show it. Joanna, 10, loved it and claimed it for her house which I have promised her we will wire during our spring break as we won't be traveling this year. I chickened out but I'm going to tackle it! She will keep the little Valentine sweet for decoration in her house during that holiday!

Brilliant. How's the Log Cabin coming along?

Debbie, the log cabin is kind of like Joanna's Victoria's Farmhouse--sitting collecting dust in the basement. DH has been so busy and as the weather gets warmer, being a country boy, he spends every moment he can outside. So, as it is going to rain this weekend, I am hoping he will get to work on it. As for Joanna's house, I have promised her we will work on wiring her house during our spring break as we certainly won't be traveling anywhere! Hope you are well!

You did find a treasure and for that price ... unbelievable.
Sounds familiar with waiting for DH to do something. I'm still waiting for that elephant saddle he promised me. Let me think, when was that ? I gave up eventually and try now to learn everything myself.

Good looking piece of machinery you've got there. This kind of miniatures really bring the houses alive.

About the fair and the things from Etsy I had to show there... I would not sell the rooster, I'm loving it! I just had it with me so that everybody can see what kind of amazing things can be found at Etsy.

If you want to see how I look, here's a rather recent pic, taken before christmas: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hannajaleijona/4182202648/

Thanks for stopping by. The problem with the squirrels here - there are so many and they are so destructive.
Have as great weekend.

Thank you all for your kind comments!

Chris, I haven't gotten around to working on another painting but am working on your 1/2 scale purple hyddrangea for our swap. My work schedule has been every other day this week and I work tomorrow so hopefully, I'll get another painting done this coming week for you to choose from. I'm no real artist so it will truly be 'slim pickin's!'

LOL!

Great price and so real, I thought it was large. You will have to insulate it to keep the heat in, lol.
