Practicing Upholstering and a Blue Hydrangea

Practicing Upholstery

In addition to a few more hydrangea's on Etsy, I have been trying to master upholstering. This sofa was my first piece and there was quite a learning curve involved. I actually lay in bed when I couldn't sleep trying to figure out how best to tackle it. The next one I try, I will do the stuffing differently and also make a few other changes but basically, I like it! I would say more but we've got to head to piano lessons! Later!

Oh Jody, I had to check several times to see if this really was a miniature. It is amazing. I love your blog and will be following from now on. Like you I have dabbled with endless crafts - painting, woodwork, needlework, jewellery and card making, doll making etc. etc. etc. (you name I have probably tried it!!) but this miniature world is something else. You can lose yourself in the world of this perfect little houses. Lovely that you visited my blog, please come back soon.

The sofa is just a dream! Wonderful fabrics and design, I would love to own it both in real life and in miniature ;-) I have to try to make sofas too, and I think I would try to make my Ikea-Ektorp in mini, but easier said than done, I think ;-) This one is fantastic and the hydrangea too!
